Makaha's visual image editor lets you quickly enhance your photos. You can modify a picture's contrast, hue, brightness, and gamma. Add stunning effects such as oil, embossing, and mosaic. Makaha is compatible with PhotoShop plug-ins, enabling you to add hundreds of special effects to your images, from dozens of independent software developers worldwide.

The program has a powerful file selector that works with the Quick Shots function, a nearly-instant way to look at groups of graphics. You can quickly turn any group of images into a slide show, or a collection of thumbnail pictures. Collections of thumbnails can be converted into web pages that are ready to view and enjoy on the Internet.
